Like, who cares about what I have to say, really? I just draw pretty pictures, right?
Yes, I do draw pretty pictures. AND I have things to say. The whole point of creating art is to somehow communicate the ineffable, and ultimately contribute to an ongoing conversation held by artists throughout history. I've come to the point in my life where I feel compelled to speak on matters that are important to me, and I am ready to start.

By beginning to write in this blog, I hope to unpack some of the things I aim for in my practice as well as explore the meaning of art. There's no solid plan for it yet, but I'm excited to see where it goes!
